Happy Easter!

We celebrated yesterday with Paulina, her boyfriend Damien (who was visiting from Poland), Elisabeth and Albane. We had a huge dinner together in the late afternoon, with deviled eggs, ham from Poland, Shepherd's Pie, Au Gratin, Polish and Finnish vodka, many many chocolates from Germany, Pulla and a special cake made by Paulina's grandmother.

We ate and ate and ate and ate, then at around 9:00 p.m. we all went for sauna! Hopefully we shed a few hundred pounds in the heat.

This morning we made a huge breakfast for Damien, as he had to catch a plane this afternoon to return to Poland. We had French crepes from Albane, (American) French toast, potatoes, Finnish Riisi pies, ham, fresh rolls and fruit salad! My god. Afterwards, Robert and I went for a walk in the fog and rain through the Finnish forest that is emerging beside our apartment building. The snow has been melting rapidly and we are able to see the beautiful rocks and moss that have been covered for so many months.

We hope that everyone is having a great day with lots of family- and of course, chocolate.
